The COMTAC V remains our top-selling 3M/PELTOR tactical circum-aural headset. The COMTAC V introduced an all-new noise canceling, ambidextrous boom microphone, new environmental microphones for enhanced SA, and a removable, inter-changeable, over-the-head, stainless steel frame. An ARC-Rail helmet mount kit is standard as are gel ear cup seals along with new shielded circuitry and wiring to help prevent crosstalk and RF/EMI Interference. The Atlantic Signal manufactured headset downlead allows for seamless use with both single and dual comm push-to-talks. The COMTAC V also includes an Advanced Voice-Guided Equalizer to help customize the user listening experience. The COMTAC V stock color is Coyote but OD Green is available as a custom order if quantities requested meet 3M’s order threshold requirements. As a testament to the COMTAC V’s durability, performance and reliability, Atlantic Signal was awarded a 45-million-dollar, 5-year HED (Hearing Enhancement Device) Program of Record from the United States Marine Corps in January of 2021 that included 53,940 ComTac V Headsets in addition to custom manufactured Atlantic Signal push-to-talks and radio cable assemblies.
